Kai Rubin-Wish, age 10, has been a student at
Bass Art’s Studio for the past 4 years. He has not missed one session during the year and has returned to the art camp year after year.
Although Kai’s favorite projects are three dimensional, he recently sold a piece, entitled Beast (at right). Kai’s work was featured in a show called Locally Grown, The Work of Fern Bass and Her Students at Temple Shomrei Emmunah in Montclair, NJ. Kai has a
rich imagination and is an expertproblem solver. He is a voracious reader and has a great love for graphic novels, Greek mythology, dragons, paper mache and anything involving blood and guts.
He is shown below working on his most recent masterpiece, which can be seen in it’s final form at right.
