Not only did Ava Marzulli, a Bass Arts student from 2014-2018 win 4 Scholastic awards, she recently gained admission to The Cooper Union, one of the most competitive art schools in the world, with an acceptance rate of 13%.
Ava received an honorable mention award for “Glare” (left) a composition she created in Bass Arts Wednesday Drawing class, using cold wax and oil paint on paper. She won a Silver Key award for her self portrait entitled “Swimming” (right), a mono print created in Bass Arts Printmaking class.
